Cheltenham’s Dan Evans is one win away from facing Andy Murray in the Sydney Classic final, as the saga around Novak Djokovic’s visa continues.
Evans is in action against number one seed Aslan Karatsev after Andy Murray earlier defeated Reilly Opelka.
Djokovic meanwhile has had his visa withdrawn for a second time by the Australian authorities.
The Serbian has been involved in a huge amount of drama in recent weeks and may launch another appeal as he looks to defend his Australian Open title in Melbourne.
Andy Murray also won his earlier semi-final, by defeating Reilly Opelka, this is the first time he has reached an ATP Tour final since 2019.
If Evans manages to beat his opponent, he will take on Scotsman Murray for the first all-British battle in an ATP Tour level final.
