Cheltenham Trials day is only a week and a half away now and there are many high quality horses coming to the trials day in preparation for the festival.
The Trials day is expected to be a very busy day with punter’s expecting to gain some knowledge of what horses can win at the festival this year.
This racing fixture in the past has bought some great races such as the shock of Many Clouds beating Thistlecrack last year. However the win was overshadowed by the death of Many Clouds, as he collapsed to his death after the race had finished.
The racing is on Saturday the 27th of January with gates opening at 10:30 in the morning with tickets start from £12. The day has eight races with the highlight being the BetBright Trial Chase, the first race starts at 12:40 and the last race starts at 4:05.
Apart from the racing there are many different events going on including the showing of the film Many Clouds created by his former work rider Nathan Horrocks, this will be on after the racing on all screens at the racecourse. There is also a Q and A with Horrocks at 12:05 and 2:05, this gives audience members a chance to ask some questions to someone who worked with such a great horse.
There will also be a range of shops open during the day, so it’s the perfect place to spend your Saturday.
