Four years after the tragic passing of striker Emiliano Sala Cardiff City have payed the first instalment of around £7 million pound in a bid to lift the transfer embargo currently placed on the club.
Cardiff City are hoping that paying the first instalment of £7 Million will be enough to lift the transfer embargo’s currently on the club from both the EFL and FIFA. The morning of 10th saw the club send the money over before writing over to the EFL to lift their transfer restrictions.
Cardiff City will be hoping that this can be a light at the end of a 4 year tunnel since the passing of Sala who passed away after a plane crash in which he was traveling from Nantes to complete his move to the Welsh club.
