The Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition will be opening this Tuesday at the “Nature in Art” building just outside Gloucester. The showcase runs from the 16th January to the 11th March 2018 and will show off the best of wildlife in photography with beautiful colours, strong composition and nature at its best. This is the 53rd edition of the Exhibition.
The Judges went through over 50’000 images from 932 images and is one of the largest and most prestigious contests of its kind and is usually held at the National History Museum. Only 100 have made it through to this exhibition. Judges have chosen the winners on their creativity, originality and technical abilities.
An incredible collection of plants, animals and landscapes will be on show for the public to admire. The natural History Museum has put together a glimpse of a few of the winners. The Exhibition will also be held at the Natural History Museum later in the year. More information can be found on their website.
