Andy Murray breezed through Viktor Durasovic in straight sets at the Sydney International as he continues preparations for the Australian Open.
Receiving a wildcard for the tournament, it appears Murray has hit form at the perfect time. Needing just over an hour, Murray demonstrated the gulf in class between him and his Norwegian opponent.
Speaking on-court following the win, Murray appeared satisfied with the result.
“It’s really nice to get my range and hopefully I can carry that through to Melbourne.”
And we’re rolling 🎬

Losing just one point on his first serve, it was a vintage Murray performance but of course tougher tests lay ahead.
He faces Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili on Wednesday whom he last faced at Wimbledon last year. Winning three sets to one, Murray will be hoping to replicate that success as he seeks more court time.
Fellow Brit Dan Evans will also feature in the round of 16 against Spaniard, Pedro Martinez. In the women’s tournament, US Open winner Emma Raducanu continued her struggles as he crashed out in straight sets at the hands of Elena Rbyakina.
