Cheltenham Town midfielder Kyle Storer has left the club after a three year stint.
Storer has now linked up with former Cheltenham manager Mark Yates at National League side Solihull Moors.
Nicknamed ‘Stoz’ by his team-mates, the midfielder has recently been team captain.
The former Kidderminster Harriers man was part of the 2015-16 National League title winning squad (pictured below), earning Cheltenham an instant return to the Football League.
Manager Gary Johnson signed Kyle Storer in the summer of 2015, one of the first additions to the National League squad. Storer has played 90 times for the Robins and managed to score four goals.
By winning the National League title, Storer also achieved a personal dream of making the Football League as a professional footballer.
Fellow players and club officials have been quick to pay tribute to Storer’s career at Cheltenham Town.

Analysis:
To many Cheltenham fans this can be seen as a sad day. Relegation into non-league football in 2015 was a disaster, but the instant return to the Football League after one season was an incredible achievement. Kyle Storer was part of that very team, a team of ‘heroes’. Storer had never played in the Football League in his career and you could argue that his time in League Two was mixed. Two sendings off in the 2015-16 season were unfortunate, but some performances were exceptional. He’s been a leader on and off the pitch and he will be sorely missed by Cheltenham Town supporters. Former members of the title winning squad have left the club recently as well, but of course players do have to move on in their careers. Kyle Storer is a champion – already a Cheltenham Town legend.
