The Wolves boss, Dan McNamara was extremely proud of his squad’s performance, giving defender Abbi Jenner player of the match for her tremendous battling throughout the game.
Greengrass said: “Before the game we said that we really need to battle against a side like Rugby and put in a good performance like we already have this season, and that is exactly what we did.”
It was goalless at half time, so the forward revealed: “We were saying at half time that we were winning all of our duals across the pitch, and I think it was a real Wolves performance as we didn’t stop fighting, and I think we got exactly what we deserved.”
The former Nottingham Forest player got her first goal for the club on her debut against Stourbridge Women and then scored the one goal against Stoke in the Cup but hasn’t scored another league goal since.

“I was really pleased; I think I’ve been a bit unlucky with getting my chances finished over the past couple of weeks, so it felt amazing,” she disclosed.
Greengrass continued: “To get the goals to win us the game was just a great feeling, I’m so happy.”

The number 12 plays alongside Amber Hughes who has been a top goal scorer for Wolves Women this season as she’s already on eight goals in eight games.
Greengrass commented: “I love playing with Amber, and I think we’re building a really good connection on the pitch and finding each other in those areas for both assists and goals was great.

“I’m really enjoying it and look forward to building on it for the rest of the season.”
The forward revealed that, “It was definitely just as important to keep a clean sheet, and AJ (Abbi Jenner) got player of the match, and rightly so as she battled so well throughout the game, as well as the entire back line, they were absolutely brilliant too.
“Tammi (George) and Becks (Becky Anderson) battled in midfield. I think it was a really hearty performance from all of the girls and we deserved nothing but the three points.”
The Wanderers have the infamous black country derby next, so Greengrass unveiled what her side needs to focus on in order to dominate the game.
The goal scorer of the game stated that “We just need to win our battles and control the game at certain moments and not get too hot headed with the ball at our feet.
“We just need to take that calmness but also that aggression to Albion, so we still fight across the pitch.”
