Three sporting sides that Cheltenham’s general public are excited for in 2023

Gloucester. Cheltenham Town. The Six Nations. This is a list of what sports Cheltenham’s general public are looking forward to most this calendar year and when you can hope to watch them.

1, The Six Nations (4th February – March 18th)

Commencing February 4th until mid March, the Six Nations offers the best rugby you can see.

Six of the best northern hemisphere sides battling it out for the Six Nations title, with three nations from Great Britain going toe-to-toe with Ireland, France and Italy. If you’re new to rugby or looking for a new sport this is one to check out.

2, Cheltenham Town (Year round)

One of the local football side in the county and one of two sides that are in the EFL setup in the Gloucestershire area, Cheltenham Town play their games at Whaddon Road near the centre of the twon.

There’s plenty to look forward this season with the side in the Papa Johns trophy semi-final for the first time ever and currently half way through their second season in League One.

With a family friendly stadium, affordable tickets and walking distance for most of the Cheltenham area, it’s a great way to watch the professional level of football.

3, Gloucester Rugby, (Year round)

One of the Biggest rugby league sides in the country, Gloucester Rugby offers an immersive experience that’s fun for long time rugby fans and casual supporters.

Offering an alternative to international rugby at the highest of levels, Gloucester is a brilliant for either a fun family day or a lively outing with friends
