Cheltenham Town fan, Matt Belcher expresses his thoughts ahead of the game where they are set to play Wycombe Wanderers away tonight at Adam’s Park.
Wycombe will be playing at Adams Park for the first time since securing their place at Wembley in April, and playing at home tonight should see that they earn confidence to gain three points.
Belcher shared “I think it’s going to be a tougher game than people realise. They have been unbeaten in six games at home. Their last loss was on the ninth of December, and I am not surprised because they have loads of experienced players.

I do feel like they are under achieving. With the likes of Sam Vokes, Tafazolli and Scowen, I do feel like they could get a lot of the league one sides”.
It looks like a good game is in set for Tuesday evening as the Chairboys were defeated on their travels to Hertfordshire against Stevenage over the weekend, whilst the Robins earned a draw away at Wigan Athletic.

“If I am being completely honest, on Friday we looked very tired and not like ourselves at all. I do have a slight concern that it might happen again on Tuesday” the young fan worringly said.
We are playing a lot of games in not many days at all. It is a lot of Tuesday and Saturday games ar the minute, and I am not really sure how much we’ve got, especially not having the greatest depth right now.
Despite the Blues loss against Stevenedge on Saturday, they squad’s performance has seen to be improved since the last time they played against the Robins five games ago.
“Even though they did lose over the weekend, I do believe they [Wycombe] have picked up a lot since we last played them which I think was six games ago.
They have only loss twice since then, and that was against Stevenedge and Bolton, so you’d really expect them to not get the results there.”
Cheltenham Town’s has also been looking strong regardless of them being at the bottom of the league table as they have not lost in four games at home and have scored around fifteen goals in those four.
“The thing that does make feel a bit confident is we do have a very good record at Wycombe. We have not lost in four games and have scored around like fifteen or so goals in those four games. Three of them being draws and one was a win.
He continued: “I would absolutely take a draw tomorrow if I got offered it, especially after looking tired on Friday and having a bit of an off day.
The last time we did an off day before this was also when we played Wycombe so it would not surprise me if it does happen, but on the day, we could beat anyone. We could surprise a lot of people.”
Wycombe Wanderers vs Cheltenham Town, kick off starts at 7:45pm.
