Bristol City take on Huddersfield Town tomorrow and are looking to close the gap on the playoff places, currently only five points off.
Coming into this game off the back of a sore 2-1 late defeat to Norwich City, the Robins are looking to bounce back with a win to push on this season.
Bristol City took the lead in the first half through Jason Knight but collapsed in the second half, conceding an own goal before Adam Idah won the game for the Canaries in the 5th minute of stoppage time.
Winning only one of their last seven games, Huddersfield are desperate for a win to steer clear of the relegation zone.
After beating Sunderland 2-1, they could only muster a draw with Swansea City last time out, losing out in stoppage time much like Bristol City.
Under new manager Liam Manning, the Robins are looking to play under his new influence and should be in full flow right now, with midfielder Jason Knight believing that it’s only a matter of time.
He said: “We’ve certainly got the players, we’ve got good 1v1 attackers, we’ve got guys who can score goals.
“It’s going to click soon because we’re getting the chances, I’d be more concerned if we weren’t getting the chances, but we need to make it happen.”
Nigel Pearson was controversially sacked earlier this season by the City board, causing unrest between fans.
Under Manning, the club have won six points in five games, but with the board ambitiously hoping for a playoff push, he has to start turning the draws into wins.
They face off with Huddersfield at The John Smith’s Stadium at 3 pm tomorrow.
