Forest Green Rovers looking to carry momentum from the weekend into tomorrow night against Wrexham

Forest Green Rovers defender Jordan Moore-Taylor says his teammates are “Going into the game with some confidence” and are “Hoping to get the win tomorrow night”.

Speaking about the result on the weekend, Moore-Taylor said, “it was a good time in the changing room after the win and the clean sheet.”

With a poor record at home, only winning three times across the season, but the defender hopes that the result on Saturday can help turn that around.

“We know we have a big week coming up, we haven’t won many games at home this year, it’s something we’ve seen and that we’re working hard on trying to put right.”

“We’re off the back of two wins in three matches and we have a big game tomorrow, we’re hoping to do the same again.”

Looking forward to the game tomorrow, against Wrexham, Moore-Taylor says that the opponent doesn’t change the fact that all games are a challenge.

“Every game is tough, against players that can and have played at higher levels, but we’re looking at ourselves and the result that we want.”

Despite the injuries and contentious suspensions to the squad, Moore-Taylor says the team can’t focus too much on that narrative.

“Every team gets suspensions and injuries, we’ve just got to get on with it with the squad that we have and everyone is chomping at the bit to play.”
