The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw took place in Nyon, Switzerland this morning with the three English clubs discovering their opponents for their first knock-out matches.
After finishing in the top eight of the inaugural Champions League league phase, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Liverpool all automatically qualified for the last 16 of the competition.
Liverpool finished top of the the table, winning seven out of their eight league games and have drawn French giants PSG.
The Parisian club overcame Brest 10-0 on aggregate in the Knock-out Phase Play-Offs after finishing 15th in the league table.
Arne Slot’s side have had a superb campaign thus far and will be looking to extend PSG’s misery in the European competition.
Villa were the first English side drawn out and will take on familiar opponents in Club Brugge, who they have already faced in the league format.
The Midlands club were defeated 1-0 in Belgium back in October, with a Hans Vanaken controversially-awarded penalty being the difference after Tyrone Mings picked up the ball during play.
They will be hoping for a different result this time around and will be aiming to reach the last eight for the first time in over 40 years.

Arsenal also had a preferable draw and will face Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
The Gunners finished third in the league table and will be looking to progress past the current Eredevise champions and reach the quarter final stage in consecutive seasons.
The draw did deliver a couple stand-out fixtures away from the English sides, with two ties including clubs from the same nation taking on one another.
The Madrid derby was the highlight with Real and Atletico being drawn out together. The semi-finals back in the 2016/17 season the last time the team’s met in the competition.
One of the Bundesliga’s top two will exit in the Round of 16 as Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverksuen will clash at this stage of this year’s competition.
Liverpool and Villa could face off against each other if both sides advance to the next stage of the competition.
