Ethan Dunbar has been a star for Bishops Cleeve this season in attack, grabbing nine goals and four assists across all competitions.
For himself, Dunbar is still pushing himself for more.
“So far the team have had a good start to the season, me being me though I always think i can do better”.
“The main thing for me is that I keep learning the way I am game by game, and as I said at the start of the season, my aim is for 20 goals”.
“There are still many games left in the season so it’s important I keep contributing to the team as much as I can to help the team in our playoff push”.

As well as his own personal goal, Dunbar had high praises for his team.
Dunbar touched personally on the defence, and how well they’ve performed as a collective.
“The defence has been solid ever since the start of the season and have given us a good team foundation to work with”.
“The game against Manor Farm is a prime example of not only the defending, but the attacking and winning as a collective”.
“We especially need to carry this momentum though into every game for the foreseeable future.”
Dunbar continued to sing the praises of his teammates, but couldn’t pick just one.
The team have all impressed this season, and Dunbar was quick to highlight the importance of being a team.
“There are many key players in the team who have all had standout moments, but we are a very well-rounded team from back to front.”
“I think it’s impossible to give credit to just one or two players, however I have got to credit those who have been there and played well since the start of the season.”
Dunbar finished off by touching on the Mitres playoff chances this season.
Dunbar truly believes his side are in a strong position to finish in those positions.
“We are more than capable of finishing in the playoffs, if not more”
“We have done well overall but there are some games that have passed by us without anything to show for it, if we can convert those games into wins, we could be doing even better than we are right now”.
“A few things definitely need to be worked on both techinically and tactically but if we can do that then for sure we are more than capable”.
Bishops Cleeve currently sit sixth in the table, but one place of of the playoffs with the same points in the team sat in fifth.
Their next game is against Bashley away, who sit seventh in the league, and Dunbar will be looking to add to his goal tally in an important match.
