Cheltenham Town suffered a disappointing mid week defeat against Wycombe Wanderers meaning that their four game undefeated run came to an end, this weekend they host Burton Albion at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium as they look to get back to winning ways.
The Robins sit just three points from safety with two games in hand over Reading and Charlton Athletic, since the reign of Darrell Clarke the Robins have picked up 32 points from 23 games (9 wins & 5 draws).
The Robins and The Brewers have faced each other on 16 occasions that span across League One and Two.
Cheltenham Town fan Matt Stevens understands the significance of the next two home games and the importance of getting positive results.
“If i’m honest, i’m nervous,. Especially after Tuesdays performance, it was a massive kick in the teeth, hopefully it’s a blip and we can get back to winning ways this weekend”
“This will be the first time we’ve played them this season, we’ve still got to go up to their place, it’s crazy really with it being this late on into the season”
The two teams are still yet to meet this season due to the game at the Pirelli Stadium being postponed on three occasions, due to weather and international call ups.

Burton Albion are in their 7th consecutive season in Sky Bet League One, since the 2020/21 season if there’s one word to describe them it’d be, consistent. The Brewers have finished between 15th and 16th, and are sitting there or there about this season also, a rather up and down season where they sit just five points off the drop themselves.
“They’ve (Burton) just lost to Carlisle who are rock bottom, with that they won’t have much confidence coming into this game, saying that they’ll want to put that result behind them and give it their all against us”

“For me we have 13 cup finals left, starting on Saturday, three points would put unbelievable pressure on the teams around us, especially with those two games in hand, it could be absolutely crucial”
Another Robins fan, Matt Belcher went on to add,
“We can’t keep looking around at other teams results, We’ve got to focus on ourselves.”

“We need to dust ourselves down and play the way we know that we can, in my opinion our main aim on Saturday should be getting those wing-backs up the pitch, they’ve played to defensively the last two games and it’s not worked.”
“We’ve only lost two of our last ten home games, If we get out of the relegation zone I think it’s a situation where we wouldn’t drop back into it.”
“After their recent results, especially the one against Carlisle, I think if we score and hit them early on we will get the points.”
“I’m expecting Liam Kinsella and Will Ferry to be back for Saturday, that’ll make a huge difference as look a completely different team without them. They’re fighting for the club, they’re fighting for Darrell Clarke, they don’t look like a team who will be getting relegated.
