12:30pm – Full Story – Police promise reassurance after Woman stabbed outside Park University

The police have informed that they will provide reassurance to the local community after a woman in her 20s has been stabbed nearby Park University.

The incident occurred around Thursday morning at 5:25am and the victim was immediately taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital by the Ambulance Service.

In a statement, the Gloucestershire Constabulary are currently investigating the scene and are looking to speak to witnesses or anyone with information.

One of the suspects is a 15-year-old boy who was seen around that time and place.

The boy has been described as being white, around five foot eight inches tall, having short brown hair and clean shaven.

He was wearing blue tracksuit top and bottoms and white sneakers.

The police are currently working with the University to support those who have been impacted from the incident.

Inspector Si Motala has said that they are looking to reassure and encourage young people, especially University students, in the local community with comments to speak to them.

He says: “We understand your concerns and we want you to work with us and talk to us and report any activities”.

Motala and the team believe these actions can help address the concerns and reduce the problems around the scene.

He then explains what the force are doing to decrease knife crime in the local area:

“I fully understand the community’s concerns. This is a priority for us by tapping in knife crime and we are working with our partners and other communities to address people’s concerns.”
