The iconic Bullring Bull in Birmingham was spotted wearing pink-striped pyjamas and famous angel wings to celebrate the opening of a brand new ‘Victoria’s Secret’ store at Bullring today (Friday, March 6).
Drawing in crowds and curious shoppers from around city and further afield, the cheeky stunt marked the launch of the boutique after weeks of anticipation.
The celebrations follow last week’s appearance of the ‘Bra-Fit bus’, which travelled through Birmingham, building excitement ahead of the store launch and offered professional fittings.

Behind the glamorous opening is months of preparation for the opening of the store, around 75 minutes up the M5 from Cheltenham.
According to the store’s Head of HR, Karen, planning for the launch began up to a year ago, making the event a huge operation involving teams across the company.

Around 60 staff members were working in the store for the opening, with a core team of 12 people helping to organise the launch from visual merchandising to events.
“It’s a massive planning exercise,” Karen explained.

The store’s visitors were treated to delicious chocolate lollipops and an interactive AI photo experience, allowing shoppers to see themselves wearing the brand’s pyjamas.
A chance to engrave perfumes and pyjamas as well a competition is in sight for Mother’s Day.
A lot has happened in the world of Victoria’s not so little secret.

The opening comes as the brand continues to expand its product range beyond lingerie, including athletic wear, candles and loungewear.
But all eyes remained on Birmingham’s unexpected model, Bullring Bull, officially part of the model line-up after securing its spot as an angel.
