Title-winning Hereford Women face Wyre Forest Ladies in season finale

Hereford Women’s triumphant campaign comes to an end this Sunday with a home fixture against Wyre Forest Phoenix Ladies at Edgar Street. Having already secured the Midwest Counties Female Football League title, the Bullettes aim to finish the season on a high note.

The Whites have displayed an exceptional form throughout the season, only losing one game out of 27 matches played. They sit on 76 points with the chance to finish the season on 79 points on Sunday. A new points record has been set by Hereford as no other team has come close to this many since the league began. Their attacking prowess and solid defence have been key factors in their successes.

The two sides last met earlier in the season where Hereford dominated against Wyre Forest winning 13-1, with six players scoring goals. Sheree Smith put five past Wyre’s goalkeeper and continued to keep this impressive form throughout the season, becoming the Bullettes top scorer.
